We are newbies to cruising(not sailing) and the Beneteau 235 . Love the boat. I have tried to join the "Beneteau First 235 Forums" twice but have only received an email from the administrator stating I am not registered and a further email will be sent...waiting since August? Any insight would be appreciated. Registering on this site was seamless and I look forward to the wealth of shared knowledge available . I have a number of questions but the winters are long here in Canada so I will pace myself. Heading to the marina today to finish tucking her in for winter. All the best.

My apologies on not getting you guys into the forum. What amazing is I have yet to receive a direct email from any of the First 235 owners and I think my name and email is on the home page in several places with mention of "dropping me a line to help" get on the forum.
I hope you guys have also perused the site at http://beneteau235.com, also linked from the Beneteau USA site.

Just a follow-up to the above. I've now had several people contact me about getting signed up to the forums and I've gotten a few in since posting the above, a good thing.
I did want to add that I have a spam member filter in there. And as stated in the announcements, you need to put a home port or location to get through the first stage of the filter. If you leave all the fields blank but your name, you'll never make it past step one. Only ONE of the people went past step one of a screen name.
So be sure to put a home port for your boat or location if you are getting info. It would help if you mentioned the First 235 or 285 in the interests, too. This forum gets a lot of spam member attempts and I have yet to ok one. Want to keep it spam free.
