....to hold spinnaker halyard out beyound the forestay on an ISOMAT NG-1 masthead? I have been told by the Rigrite folks that this is the only way to fly an asymetrical Gennaker off an ISOMAT masthead without sawing through the halyard. This $140 SS Isomat plate mounts on top of the NG-1 masthead to hang a standard block that turns an EXTERNAL halyard around beyond the forestay. Keeps the halyard and sail out of harms way of the forestay and furler swivel I have been told that the current way I am rigging my INTERNAL Spinnaker halyard, out the Port Jib sheeve at the masthead, won't work without destroying the halyard. I have also been told that I must set the tack pendant forward of where the forestay attaches to the stem thus flying the gennaker forward of the genoa/jib. This will require drilling a hole in the forward end of my anchor roller so I can apply a shackle. Any experiance with this setup??? Will this create any problems with the genoa's roller furler?
