Is it possible to switch keels?

I am trying to sell my 2000 Hunter 320 and twice deals have fallen through because I have the deep draft keel. How hard, expensive, etc is it to switch out keels? Do you think I can just order the shallow draft keel straight from Hunter? Incidentally, both of these deals would have involved shipping the boat across land. Do these usually come from the factory without the keels attached? Thanks for any help. BTW, it's an outrageous steal I am offering on the boat. Overequippend and in perfect condition for $70,000

We did a switch a few years back with a customer. Removed the keel, sent it to Mars Keels in Burlington, Ontario. They cut two feet of the keel and attached two torpedo bulbs on either side. Total cost of the keel came to $4400.00 CDN plus labor to reinstall. Call them

I think it would cost too much to change the keel! what does it draw?
