Works for me. Start a thread. I love day sailing. I'm not much of an expert but go ahead and ask anything you want. If I don't know the answer I'll fake one. Or, I could tell you about the cool bird I saw in Austin, TX over Thanksgiving.

I was wondering where everyone was...... too much turkey? My boat is hauled out for the Winter here In New England, but southern and western sailors must still be out?

I've posted answers to several questions...... Don't know if the owners solved their questions.

Both my boats are hauled and wrapped up like burritos. Running rigging and sails are washed. Motors fogged and carbs drained. Not much going on unless I buy some quilted fabric to make a companionway cover for inside for chilly spring nights. Wind comes out of the NW a lot in the spring and fall, and it blows pretty much at my drop boards when I'm in my slip. I figured if I Velcro some quilting on the inside covering up the drop boards and hatch, it will block some of the wind and insulate a bit for sleeping over. Was maybe going to start that project tonight, but got a call to visit friends for dinner.

Oday Sprite Northeast Nebraska
I'm new to this forum. Used to sail, but I've been dry-docked for several years. This summer I got an O'Day sprite... looks like it hasn't been used for 20 years or more... a nice, easy project. Got it sanded down, repaired and painted on the outside. Still need to do the inside, and find a sail.
