AND IF IT IS, HOW MUCH WORK WILL HAVE TO GO INTO RAISING AND LOWERING THE MAST?

The cost of the trailer alone will probably be more than what the boat is worth to start but if you love your boat and money is not a matter, then fine. If you have a swing keel, the boat will sit low on the trailer and you will have access to most ramps. If a fin keel, then there are very few and with the boat sitting high, the center of gravity is high and you really have to be cautious when pulling. As for the mast, you cannot handle this alone as it will take severral strong folks in the event that you do not have a gin pole to help you but the trailer bow strap may be one factor here. However, you need to steady the mast sideways as not to loose it. As for a tow vehicle, you will need one that is capable to tow with but that agian will cost you. Good luck with your deciwsion.
