Irwin Citation 38 loose lead weights

Good Day all, We would like to know if it is standard for Irwin boats to have loose lead weight ( from 4lbs to 30lbs blocks ) all over the boat, I assumed all counterweights should be secure. How to find out what is the basic weight added for C of G, and C of B. Thanks, Michel

Led Weights

Capt., Sounds to me like your vessel probably has a list and the previous owner (PO) used the weights to level her out. Take the weights off the boat and see how she sits in the water. Put the weights back where you need 'em to make her sit even and lash 'em down. Or just do what I do and live with that 1-2 degree lean. Note, I use the word 'lean' and not 'list;' just sounds kinder, gentler.
