The guys in the boat yard and a surveyor can't agree on what to call the parts I need. I don't know the correct terminology but, I need to replace the two rudder post bearings (bushings, shims, spacers ??) on an Irwin 34 and I don't know who might sell these parts. They sit in an opening just above and below the rudder post where the rudder is attached to the hull. The rudder post passes through these bearings and they appear to have been designed so as to preclude having to drop the rudder to replace them (they look like very large washers cut in half.)If you have any ideas please let me know.
