As a new (2 weeks) Hunter 42 owner, I'm interested in how anyone has provided protection for the inverter/charger (on my 1991 it's above the batteries but under the turning wheels for the steering pedestal) from water that might get in through the steering/pedestal? Mine has some chalking on the top which tells me that it probably has had water on it at some point....
