Just installed the 1800 watt True Sine inverter in the aft quarter cabin..It is mounted on 3.75 inch cyprus blocks that are bolted to the bulhead..Mounted under it is a battery charger that was installed by the privious owner, and he did such a neat install that I was reluctant to move it and try and mount both units side by side..So we decided to "double" use the space..There is about 2 inches of airspace between th 2 units, more space than it would have it were bolted directly to the bulkhead.. 73 Ed bt

What year H37C Ed?

That quarterberth looks like none I have seen. Are those toerail bolts in the back? Which bulkhead are we looking at where you have the inverter and charger? And why inside? My Heart Inverter/Charger(2000W) is only about a 10" cube. It is mounted on the back of the icebox and takes up very little space.

Some answers

I also had to look at this picture for awhile before determinining what I was looking at. The picture is taken from the forward outboard corner of the aft cabin looking aft and inboard. This cabin is configured the same as mine ('81 H37C) The bolts are from the cockpit mounted main sail traveler (mine are covered with a piece of wood trim).

So Mark, . . .

that is the foot end of the q-berth? Would have to be if the picture was taken from the forward/outboard corner(where the cabinet is located.) But the traveler is on the bridgedeck which is at the head of the q-berth. I am really confused because my traveler('79) is also on the bridgedeck and I have no bolts showing in the q-berth(except toerail).

The quarterberth

is where this is, forward, stabord side bulkhead, just aft of the door hatch pocket..The traveler is located on the bridge deck, aft of the companionway in the cockpit... MYST is a '79 cutter.. 73 Ed bt

Mine looks like that too

My traveler bolts show in the exact same way, on my 79 model, with the traveler mounted on the deck step just aft of the companionway. The quarterberth, incidentally, has never really seemed big enough for two. so giving up that small space on the bulkhead would not work a hardship on me (or my wife). Wiring to instruments is hidden under teak ...

Must be the camera angle.

It must be the camera angle, the dimensions just do not look right. So that angled fiberglass is where the cockpit portlight is mounted? And the access panel to the engine is aft of the charger and inverter(hidden by the yellow bag)? Mine probably looks exactly like that. And I can't get up there for a couple of weeks to check. It will drive me crazy!
