2 Hunter 33 Herzlia
Hi,
I am new to this forum and appreciate responses. We (three Israeli skiper partners) purchased a new Hunter 33 sailing yacht (Called Layla). We want to add two more Spin-Locks and a Spray-Hood, but we do not know how to take off the internal roof pannels, so we can get to the "Bare" Aluminum plates where we can screw the said devices. Where can we getsuch information? We get no support from the local official importer. Who should I approach at Hunter Marine?

Best Regard

Try Al Fooks ( afooks@huntermarine.com ). If its the soft headliner you're planning to remove, let me tell you ..its a pain in the a##. I tried and ended up poking couple of holes and tear and getting no where. Gave up.

Spin-Locks
Hi I have a 2004 33 and my dealer installed additional spin locks from the top by drilling and tapping the plates and screwing the bolts into them. The job took less than a half hour.

Tap it

Jacksam is spot on. I made the mistake of drilling instead of tapping and then removed the light fitting to get a socket through to hold the nut. Very difficult and ended up with a small tear in the headlining.
