Has anyone ever rerouted their lines inside of the mast? I am considering giving this a try. It will just clean everything up and I won't hear all of the whapping in the night when Im trying to sleep. Just Curious seth- Third Day 77 Oday 25

yes! its a fair amount of work though!
I put all my halyards, topping lift etc. inside and moved all the leads with organisers etc. back to the cabin head with the appropriate sheet stoppers on my O'Day 30. click on to the boat info spec sheets for the O'Day 30 and go to the pictures. I have posted several pics of how i did all of my reorganisation. a word of caution. when you cut the openings for the exit plates they must be stagered so as not to weaken the mast. S/V Que Pasa?

you may still here the halyards slap
i have an oday 20 with internal halyards. i use a bungy to pull the main halyard's external half away from the mast, but the halyards still slap the inside of the mast and make noise. not as much, but it is still noticeable. to me the sound of the halyard on the mast is music, but to other's it's just rap.

When done sailing for the day, I clip the halyards to the little triangle stainless plate on my side stay. I then tie the other end to it also. This keeps the banging down on my 25. I also noticed that if I have the mainsheet too tight at night, it tends to resonate and vibrate sometimes quite loud. sPk
