I have recently acquired a Legend 43 (1992) and want to touch up the interior woodwork. I gather it is not varnished but oiled. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of what type of product to use for this. Nigel Wathen

Daly's Seafin Teak Oil

Hunter uses a product that works pretty nice. The product is called Daly's Seafin Teakoil. They provided a can of it about 1 pint with my new 340.I used it on the new teak interior and it was very nice. You can buy it direct from Daly's You can reach them on their web site http://dalysinc.com/marine.html The stuff is thin. Soaks in nicely and dries to a hard finish. Use a foam brush and at least 3 coats with a very light sanding between coats. Good Luck!

URL?

I've had trouble with Wayne's URL. It used to work. But Daly's can be found in Yahoo Yellow Pages in Seattle and/or Bellevue, WA under the name DALY's Home Improvement Centers. I've bought Seafin TeakOil from them (at Hunter's recommendation) for about $15 a quart and it works great. Incidently, I sail a 1988 Legend 37.

Lemon Oil

I'm in the process of doing the same thing. I bought some lemon oil from home depot and rubbed it in using clean rags. I'm getting pretty good results from it. Makes the cabin smell nice as well.
