Does anyone know what kind of wood was used in a 1984 S-2? We want to restore some of the more heavily traveled areas and would like to find correct polish/cleaner to do job once. Any help would be appreciated.

they used teak in mine on the sole it is teak and holly

The sole may be teak and Holley, but it is most likely plywood. A sander can go through the outer ply real quick..

Am sure teak, just was not real sure. If I can figure how to send a picture, I will. If.

Mine is plywood with so teak and Holley veneer that has bubbled and lifted. If your is sound sand carefully and refinish.
