1+ for an Ozone generator on a timer. Just be sure to protect any rubber, (engine mounts, dripless collar, etc) as ozone will attack rubber. However like zinc, ozone goes after the easy issues first. Using a machine for two hours, with an hour air out before entering the space is all that's necessary to protect ones safety.
Ozone is like aspirin, 1-2 tablets = medicine, two bottles at once = poison. Use it in metered doses with a post hour air out time without anyone occupying the space while it runs, and you will be very happy with the results. You must still clean all surfaces afterwards, but importantly you won't be exposed to live mold spores while doing the final clean up. This makes the job much safer than simply cleaning with vinegar etc without an ozone soak first.
