Interior Lights

Now here's a dumb question. I cannot get the domes off my interior lights to change bulbs. I use oil lamps at night and hardly ever need them, but it's the principle of the thing! Hunter tells me they twist off, and I am well versed in righty-tighty lefty-loosey. They just feel like something is bound to break if I apply any more force and they don't budge a single millimeter. Is there some secret to doing this?

Susan, I have a 95 H26 and I'm fairly sure the

lens just pops off leaving the silver ring. Take a small butter knife and insert it between the lens and outer ring and pop it off. RayPS I be on the boat sat

what year is your boat?

Mine is a '94 and they have different lights that are a royal pain. alan

Mine is a '96

and since my lights are also a royal pain, they may be the same.I'll try knife pop-off method. They certainly do not feel like they will turn.Thanks
