I'm thinking of replacing all the interior cushions of my Catalina 30 and wondering if anyone out there knows where I can purchase new replacements.

Try the Catalina factory - cheap

I am in the same boat as you; okay, mines a little smaller. However after snooping around, I discovered that phoning (or emailing) down to the Catalina factory in California; they provided the best deal. Shipping such large cushions was an issue and by following the forums, I ran across a suggestion to have the cushions shipped in a new to be delivered boat from Catalina to Vancouver. I contacted the Cat dealer here in Vancouver and he was open to the suggestion. The only negative is you can't be in a hurry for your cushions - the factory will have them done within 10 days - however if they are shipped via a new boat, pick up will be whenever the new boat arrives, in your case in Chicago or Chiago - in case it isn't a spelling mistake.

Do you need the foam too ?

Alex, Do you need the covers and foam ? If the foam does not need to be replaced, just send the covers off to be duplicated (this would save a lot on shipping). Perhaps a seamstress or curtain maker could use your existing covers for patterns and make new covers (locally) . If the covers are good and you need foam, there may be a local retail shop that may be able to help you out. They may only have bulk foam but I saw a local sail loft us an electric knife (as used for carving a roast) to cut the foam into the correct shape. Just a couple of thoughts. CM

I was quoted $1300 and that

I was quoted $1300 from Catalina to re-do the upholstery and new foam.

Catalina is tha way to go

I had mine done at this time last year. New foam, and cusions. I think it was around $2500 + shipping. They did a great job!!! I removed the old covers and sent them to Catalina. My boat is an '81 Cat30 and it now looks great! If you want more info e-mail me at billcat30tr@sbcglobal.net.
