I would like to replace my interior cushions this winter on my 1989 30. Any recommendations in the RI or New England area would be appreciated. Also, if anyone has recently replaced the interior cushions, what kind of cost should I expect? Thanks. Alan

Go Local

I had my cushions replaced a few years ago, We went to a local upholsterer who copied the cushions perfectly. No need for a "marine" specialist. Be prepared for great number of fabric choices, Cost $1200-1500 for each cabin. Best of luck John K

Agree: go local...and--

Supply your own fabrics. . Discount fabric "warehouse" offer a much larger selection at a much lower price than any upholstery shop can offer, and any good quality stain resistant, moisture resistant upholstery fabric is suitable for use in the cabin I've completely replaced the interiors of 3 boats btw...

Check out the archives. These guys have more fabric samples than you will find in ANY shop. They have all the patterns and know how to make cushions for the marine environment (zippers, anti-mildew etc). Their fabrics are of the quality used in the commercial avaiation industry. Total interior for a H'31 was about $1100 + shipping.
