Interior cabinets or shelfs

We are waiting for delivery of our new 26M. I have a friend in the cabinet business and he will build holders, cabinets, racks etc. Other than the teak items for sale, does anyone have photos of interiors that they have done? We would love to see some examples of successful installations.

New Galley

Herb, Remind me later and will take pictures as boat is in water in Gulf and not here. I added another vertical handrail above sink and built aluminum & acrylic shelf for storage above galley. Works fine and no head banging. Removed original Mac undersink black storage bin. Installed microwave, aluminum shelving and new acrylic door. Also works good. But I have to move some things around boat to balace weight. Bow riding too high and gets blown around on windy days.

Herb -Congratulations on the new purchase!I have a 2004 26M, so my interior layout does not have the sliding galley like you'll have (the 2003-2004 26M layout is much more similar to the 26C/D/S models than the 26X or the 2005 26M's).There are not a lot of mods posted for the new 2005 26M layout as far as I have seen. You may want to watch www.macgregorsailors.com, they have a pretty active modifications section there.- Andy26M
