Interfacing of analogue sensors to NMEA

Boat has number of analogue sensors, such as tank levels, temperature sensors etc. I would like to take the analogue signal (2 wires)
to NMEA2000 conventer.
Question is > how to take signal from the sensors? Should it be parallel connection to existing analogue connections or what?

Several manufacturer's make devices to translate analog to NMEA 2000. Kus and Lowrance are two of them. It is not possible to connect them directly.

I have in mind NKC42. What could be diagram of connection to sensors? Should I disconnect existing analogue connections or
it is possibel to connect on top of existing? How is possible?

In most cases it is an either or situation. If you connect the gauge to the NEMA 2000 network you must disconnect the analog gauge. I seem to recall seeing one device that allowed both connections, but I can't remember who made it.

I would comtact the manufacturer of the NKC 42. They would know the specifics of their device.
