My marina in Baltimore County is only 15 minutes from home. I really appreciate that as I go there often even when not sailing to putter around on the boat ir trailor and really enjoy meeting and interacting with other boaters and owners. It seems like every time i enter the gate something new or different presents itself. Today was no different.

Well, an explanation is in order. I talked to the owner (in the photo) for a while. He just bought the boat (Cape Dory) in New Jersey and brought her down last week. He is a Pa. resident (many of them in our marina).
He told me that the previous owner n( or maybe it was p.o. s uncle )is named Schlossbach and had spent time in an expedition to Antarctica back in the day and apparently has/had a wicked sense of humor.
