Intake hose diameter

Hello I have a 27ft hunter with a yamar sb-8. The boats in beach haven and I'm in pa. I'll be heading down this weekend and I'd like to run the engine for an extended period of time (its up on jacks) if anyone knows the diameter of the water pump intake and discharge I could buy some hose up here and not have to run all around south jersy looking for something that would fit. Haven't tried calling a yamar distributer yet thought I'd ask here first thanks

I am fairly sure my old YSB 12 used a 1 inch hose but bear in mind pumps can get changed etc so stock isn't always what you find. I do have an electronic version of the owners manual somewhere if you'd like me to PDF it to you send me a message with your email. It may have the stock size.

The nipple at the pump end will be 1/2 inch. I have a YSE 8 on my Tanzer 26 and that is what is on that engine. On my GM2, it is also a 1/2 nipple on the pump end, but the through hull is 5/8. I can make 5/8" hose work with carefull clamping on both side. While you are at it, install a Vetus seawater strainer (5/8" nipples on it) to guard against eel grass which can be a problem in the Barnegat.
