Hello again
This time to consult with you regarding insurance that covers my boat, ect in the Bahamas for lets say a year. I'm reading Geico would do but on a leash. Your input is appreciated.

We just returned from the Bahamas and are insured by BoatUS/Geico. Our policy is a US policy and we added a rider for our Bahamas stay.

A 2 month rider for us was an additional $29. There are boundaries for the coverage which they will provide.

It is a quick and easy process to add the rider, call them and if your boat is longer than 26' and younger than 30 years the endorsement is pretty automatic. If the boat is older, it needs "underwriter Supervisor approval" whatever that means.

It may be cheaper for you to have a standard Florida policy and add endorsements for the times you want to go to the Bahamas.
