Hi,

Does anyone know of a site that has detailed a hull insulating project?

I'm thinking to use a PL Premium Polyurethane Construction Adhesive for the stringers rather then glass, a closed cell foam preferably pressure fitted, then a gap for air circulation and finish off with a white Arborite. The seam would be hidden by making a shelf.

Stephen,
I wear a Cowichan Indian sweater .... never get cold ;-)

Seriously though, there's a material called Armaflex that may interest you.
This article covers metal boats, but I'm sure it would work on fiberglass just as well. And ... it seems to be available in Vancouver!

Thanks Peter

I did do some reading on this some months ago and liked what i saw but it seems to me that it wasn't so easy to get here. I'll contact the company again and see where it can be found.
