Instrument Panel

I have to replace my tachometer and Oil pressure guage in the instrument panel in the cockpit at the stern of my 38' Hughes (1979) . However, I am not sure how to remove the guages. There appears to be four plastic tabs holding in the face plate (plastic) . I assume the instruments are removed from the front but I am not sure how to remove this plastic or acrylic cover. Any ideas.

removing gauges

If these are 2" type round gauges...usually there are 2 bolts on the back of the gauge that press it against the panel. Unscrew the two nuts, a pincher comes off the back and the gauge comes out the front of the panel. Bob
