Does anyone have experience installing vhf antennas at the mast head on a catalina 22. I am interested to know how to keep the coax cable from interfering with the internal halyards. Also, how do you make the connection through the deck. With a trailerable boat and a mast to be stepped up and down, how is this done. any thoughts? Jkassel

try catalina direct.com, i just did this to my boat i used 25'of 3/4 pvc conduit pop riveted to the front of the mast on the inside about every 4' used a deck mounted screw fitting for the vhf hope that helps

Don's idea is a good one! Also check out Chip Fords site, his antenna was hit be lighting, and he is in the process of replaceing it. Great site with lots of "how to" photos for a Catalina 22.
