autopilot
Jim, I have a C36 and have the St6000+ autopilot. These are very similar. The T1 linear drive unit is bolted through the swim platform. Stainless steel carriage bolts. All you see from above is the 4 round heads. You'll have to use the Edson bronze bracket to attach to the rudder shaft. This gets bolted through the shaft so a hole has to be drilled through the shaft. the fluxgate compass on my C36 is mounted unfer the aft berth. but you can put this almost any place that is away from large metal objects. Close to the centerline of the boat is better. Good Luck, Chris
