My next job is to replace all of the hoses on the head and holding tank. I don't believe the set up that is on the boat is to code. Are any diagrams available? I'm always open to helpful tips.

One-size-fits-all diagrams rarely fit one size,

much less, all....which is the reason I don't like 'em. And, as long as the boat is equipped with a holding tank or a CG Certified Type I MSD treatment device (in waters where the discharge of treated waste is legal--which include the Chesapeake Bay), except for "use only hoses rated for sanitation and double clamp all hose connections," there is no "code" for sanitation systems. The best installations are the simplest, most straight-forward. You'll find some guidelines at the link below...and I'll be glad to help you work out the details.

If you go to the Raritan web-site and select "Tech Support" you will find some useful diagrams. The Related Link is a PDF for a PH-II installation. On the Great Lakes it is pretty simple since we cannot pump overboard. Water inlet to head, two vented-loops(one to tank and one between pump and bowl), and hose from vented-loop to tank. You will need to add a Y-valve for the overboard option, maybe a macerator.

John: The West Marine (aka Evil Empire) catalog also has some schematics that show different options. Take a look at these for some ideas.
