Installing additional bunks on a trailer

The trailer for my Vagabond 14 has only 2 bunks, at the stern. I plan on adding a couple more a bit more towards the middle of the boat.

Is it possible to lift one side of the boat and prop it with 2x4s to facilitate installing additional bunks?

Got the additional bunks installed and adjusted the front roller to be a bit higher. Raised the winch to keep the bow from banging into the winch wheel.

I had my wife stick a 4x4 on top of each of the exiting bunks as I lifted the stern. She stacked two of them under the bow.
