Bought my '82 H30 4 years ago and it came with a portable home AC window unit that would 'sit/balance' in the companionway.....far from ideal! The unit now sits under my workbench in the basement.Would like to know were you have had your AC units installed on 30' Hunter. If you did it your self what kind of problems did you encountered in the instillation process.
Looks great, you may have a second career thereWell I decided to install it on the starboard side. The unit is in the v-birth at the front with the ducting running down the starboard side. I went with 6" PVC pipe for the ducting and made my boxes. I also used two 4"x 12" floor registers. I'm not done with the install; will keep you up to date as I have time.
Yes it can use a 30 amp shore power because it is a 110 unit only. So it can't be used when sailing.Looks great, you may have a second career thereKeep us posted, how much power does it draw. Can you use it with your regular 30 amp shore power...
