We are replacing the achohol stove with a propane one. We aren't sure where to place the propane tanks. Has anyone done this and where have they put the tanks and how did they do it.
Fran, we just finished this conversion on our 41 sloop. Installed two 11-lb vertical tanks in the helm seat. The locker was first partitioned from the port locker and then sealed and vented. I also recall seeing on one of these forums that someone built a locker in the space between the transom and the aft cabin bulkhead.
