We are trying to install a Plastimo Contest 101 compass on our C22.
This is not going well due to the two bulkheads on the aft side of the cabin. We have the outer hole cut but can not figure out what to do about the back (inside) or in-between the 2 bulkheads. The "A" and "D" rings will not both fit on the back of the outside bulkhead.

The bulkhead compass is designd to be mounted inside a hole through the entire wall. The mounting rings fit on either side of the entire bulkhead "sandwich" and clamp the compass into place.

you will have to cut the inner liner hole bigger so you have access to install the compass in the bulkhead/hull skin.... then build a nice trim ring or cover for the inner liner to hide the raw edge. this can be as simple as a piece of nice fabric with snaps to hold it on or a finished wood piece with screws... you have choices:D
