Up here in Maine, marinas often do not activate their pump out stations until Memorial Day or even later. I like to start my season a bit earlier. I have a head attached to a Y-valve to direct discharge overboard or to the holding tank. It's the original configuration on my 1982 Catalina 27.This year, I purchased a macerator pump so I can discharge the HT three miles out when no pump out is available. Here's the question: Will I still be able to pump out at my usual pump out stations if I route the HT outlet through the Y-valve? I'm afraid of creating an impossible constriction or too much resistance in the line. What's your advice?PhilS/V Catmandu1982 Catalina 27tall rig, traditional layoutAtomic 4
