Sharing my installation. I have a Hunter 26 that came with a deck organizer to starboard but not one to port
the hunter comes with a glasses in embedded aluminum plate for an after market install. I tapped some holes . If you choose to do this install go one size down on the drill bit. The aluminum is soft and the tap can easily size the threads up one size.
BTW: the butyl tale is from main sail.
