install a mast from a hunter 340 on a hunter 376

Hello,
Does anyone know if it is possible to install a mast from a hunter 340 on a hunter 376?
I'm trying to find out if this will cause me a problem or risk in use.

I'm sure it could be done, not sure it should be done. You will lose 5 feet of mast height and a rigger should review to see how the mast step and stays fit between the two different boats. None of the sails from the 376 would fit, and all new standing rigging would drive the cost of the swap out.
It may actually be cheaper to buy a new 376 mast than swap everything out and pay for a rigger to get it set up properly. It would be worth looking into the cost trade offs.

@DArcy has the issue well explained.
If I liked the 376 and intended to sell it at sometime in the future, I would not put a 340 mast on the boat.
