injector replacement

I'm reinstalling the injectors on a yanmar 3gmf and cant get the precombustion chambers out to replace the copper gasgets. Any ideas on best way to get this done?

Try cranking thee engine without injector in. I'm sure the chamber parts will fly out plus carbons. It may bee a mess but hey you got it out right?

I did try granking the eng without injectors, it was a no go. Did get plenty of carbon out but not the precombustion chambers. everything down to them is already out.
Might try some WD 40 if I can get by the boat this week, and let it sit until the week end. Otherwise I'll just go with them still in place and new washers from there up.

My mechanic said if they don't pop out when trying to start the engine you may have to remove the head to get them out.
