Oday 192 Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota
I recently bought a 1986 O'Day 192. There has been very little in the forums about this model. It is working out well for me. It is easily trailered between several lakes in the area and is very stable for the novice sailors I am converting. I understand that D R Marine will be my best friend for spare parts over time. Right now I would apprciate any written material: owner's manuals, brochures, rigging instructions, neccesary updates, or remakes. Anything would be appreciated.

Good luck on your search

I bought the same boat 6 months ago and have been looking for a manual on-line for months. If you find anything, PLEASE post it. Anyway, I've loved the boat so far. Easy to sail so the kids enjoy it too. Only recomendation, check the hose between the cockpit drain and the through hole in the stern. It's hard to reach and many owners don't check it. The origianl owner never replaced it and it split on me while out on a sail. About as close as I've ever come to sinking in 20 years boating. The boat will never actually sink but 2 feet of water in the cabin sure feels like your sinking. Anyway, enjoy the boat and replace that hose.
