I predict that you will get a lot of positive opinions on this sailboat. We have sailed our for 16 seasons and are looking forward to number 17.
Two people can handle it nicely, it is roomy and bright with all the ports, and with the tall rig it charges to windward. It accommodates two couples comfortably and the layout is convenient.
It draws just under 5' so you can get into lots of spots. The mast is 62.5' plus antennas and that could be a disadvantage if you have to navigate 65' bridges. I do wish that the holding tank were larger; it is only about 22-25 gallons.
It handles well under power and sail and will back up reasonably well. However like many Hunters it is designed with a flat area just forward of the keel and this area will slap hard when driving into heavy seas. This is probably my only performance criticism.
We do a 6-week cruise to Maine every other year and we are very comfortable. But I think if I were going to live aboard full time, I would like something larger.
