Hello guys, I am new to the forum. I ve just lost my propeller today. We know the size and pit ch but I have doubt about the shaft size. I read in my scale, 25mm, but when you try to buy in the USA, its in Inches. All the propellers experts says that even tought its a small difference between 25mm and 1 in, the tapper is diferent. I have a Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 343 2006/2007 with Yanmar 3YM30 direct shaft. Anyone with any previous experience on that? I live in Dubai so I dont want to messed up on buying my new prop and not fitting my boat.

My 2006 Ben 343 (made in USA) has a 25mm shaft coupled to same Yanmar engine. Should be able to get exact taper from Beneteau customer service or thru dealer. You really do need to get exact dimensions to have a good fit. How did you lose the prop?
You could order it from Europe. Morse Taper is 1/96 , metric is 1/100. The difference between 25mm and 1 inch is to much when it comes to prop. fitting.
Thanks guys. Yes the info I had from the previous owner is that it should be 25mm but he was not sure about it. I simply came out from the marina and after maybe 3 minutes the prop was just gone. Bad quality screw locker maybe ? I was using a flexofold 16x13 RH. I would love to buy any used suitable prop. Vacation coming in 15 days, trip allready schedule but the new ones they are asking for 7 weeks to be made plus another 3 or 4 days delivered. That means that If I cannot get it on time... trip is over :-(. I appreciate your help. Will try my best to find a suitable 25mm prop. Thanks and safe sailing
That was what I was using... but now I am going for something simpler and less expensive. Looking to sell my boat in near future
email flexo fold AFTER you . email beneteau for orig p - shaft specs. propshafts have both a certain key way , diameter in mm or inches , length and taper. get any one dimension wrong and the prop will not fit. the flexo folds have a retaining nut and also require a special removal/ install tool . so be sure to check w flexofold then double check yr marina and not take their word for what tools they have.
