Wonder if anyone has attempted to increase the fuel capacity of their Passage 42? I have made it down the west coast of California to Puerto ]Vallarta Mexico, and find that with running a genset and Yanmar, some of the longer legs are tight on fuel. Hate to contemplate carrying it on decks! Who has increased their capacity and where did you place the tank? Any pros or cons on bladder tanks vs. weleded tanks? Is the space below the salon dining room table a good place to put a tank? How does one fill it and transfer it? Any help would be greatly appreciated: Please resond to skyking20@aol.com

bladder tank

i installed a 15 gal nauta bladder tank under the aft berth on my h40.5....i also installed an electric pump to pump the fuel into the main tank...whenever the main tank gets a little low, i pump fuel in from the bladder tank, and have no problem with any air getting into the system...so far the bladder tank has worked fine...bob h40.5 reliance
