In Mast furling option

My wife and I have been looking to purchase a late model C340, but we have found so much different info on the In mast furling vs the standard or tall rig. We don't have a big desire to race the boat competitively, but want to use it as a family friendly boat. Can anyone enlighten us as to which setup might be better?
