in line head treatment

Good morning Peggy,
I have a 1990 34 Catalina with an in line water treatment container. It was manufactured by Rtec of Sausalito CA. They had offered a replacement cartidge. I have tried to find them on the internet and also through the yellow pages, but to no avail. Do you know of a suitable replacement or do I even need it? We add some kind of treatment directly into the holding tank when have a pump out. Is this good enough?

You don't need it

I've never been a fan of inline "head treatments"...they aren't that effective and the chemicals in 'em can interfere with holding tank products.

Btw...what ARE you using in the tank?

I am not sur of the name. It something that was available at a local grocery store. It is designated for campers and boats but that's all that I know
