IMS RATING FOR HNTER 23

Can anyone help? I am trying to find out what the IMS rating for a Hunter 23 is. Even an approximate idea would be useful.Thanks

International Measurement System

Don't believe a Hunter 23 would qualify under the IMS rules, since yourwaterline is about 40 to 50 short. You might be better off determining what your PHRF rating would be. And depending on where you are at (what areaof the country) and what kind of keel and sail plan it could be 235 to 255.

International Measurement System [IMS] is a rating system for handicapping different types of boats racing together,similar to, but different from, Performance Handicap Racing Rule [PHRF] and International Offshore Rule [IOR].Duncan
