The water pump is on the front of the engine. It is on the lower belt. You will need to release the belt and remove the bolt that holds the pump. When you turn it around there are 4 screws secure the cover. Once you get it replaced, just reverse the process.
You may also want to consider a SpeedSeal. It makes R/R of the impeller easier, especially if you need to replace it quickly. The new SpeedSeal also has a teflon insert so your impellers will last longer.
I would suggest that you purchase a Yanmar GM service manual.
