I'm the owner of a Beneteau 393 2004 (since 1 year) I noticied that, at anchor, in calm water, this boat has a list on the port side (boat empty)

Do some of you have the same problem ?

Interesting topic, my new to me 351 has a port list, noticed the aft water tank is on the port side, it was filled when we sailed home in the fall, bow tank was empty.

In my case, water tanks empty or full, i still have a port list...amazing !

Totally different boat, but I also have a port list. Batteries are on starboard, I also keep the port water tank empty but there is always a slight list. Will have to try checking mast and keel with a plumb line from a distance while on the hard.

I am the owner of a 2004 393 purchased new-the port list is a known, long discussed "issue" with this model. Not sure if you have a two or three cabin version, but my two cabin version has two 4D house batteries on the port side, along with the entire galley and the forward water tank on the port side. Some owners in the past added lead ballast glassed in on the starboard side, but not sure why one would want to add that much weight to the boat. There is a yahoo 393 user group that has a considerable thread on this topic.

Probably due to location of strong box containing enough gold bullion to pay off the boat loan and maintain it for yur lovely yacht! After while expenses will cure list. Sail on!

The post list is a design feature put in place to make it easier to walk on the boat while at anchor or at the dock when you have plenty of Vitamin R in your system!

Maybe move the batteries and any other heavy thing you can relocate

Everything has been tried and done, like batteries taken out, tanks (fuel and water) empty,etc.... without any results ....

Maybe the hull is level but the cabin, cockpit and deck is on crooked... LOL

Maybe the keels are off center, not the first boat with such a problem.
