I have been looking at my engine ignition and control panel and wondering if I might be able to make it a little more sea worthy. It occurs to me that it would be simple to caulk the guts out of it however if the cockpit filled I would certainly lose the ignition and engine electrics. I have also considered building a water tight compartment by reducing the cockpit by about 18 to 20 inches and fitting the top with a bombproof hatch. (Ala Roger Taylor)ish. Has anyone thought about this or in fact made any such modification? For your consideration John
