If you can see this post you are now back to the live web site again. Our new server location is gradually spreading across the internet domain name system and more owners are being pointed to the live site. By this time Sunday site traffic and posting should all be back to normal. Thanks for your patience let me know if server performance is better or worse.

Don't ever do that to me again

Boy having to actually work on Friday just about killed me. Lets try not to shut off access again, or maybe give us more notice so that we can go on vacation to some remote area that doesn't have internet access. That way we won't know what we are missing. Phil: Nice job. Hope that everything that could have happened did not. Looks like you exceeded your expectations. I does seem faster, but really do not know what we should expect.

I have regressed...

...to the olden days: when a man became a man when he hoisted the royal from the end of the yardarm; when the head was actually at the head; when women were considered bad luck on a boat, not just bad luck; when sixpence bought a weary crew a bit of a grog barrel for the entire night; and... ...when your internet connection was limited to 28K because you're so friggin' far in the country the phone line is noisy. This is way slow to me, but of course, not due to anything on your end. HOW am I going to stand it when cruising? No dedicated Net connection; bummer.

But the biggest change will be that it will go down far less often.

Have you seen that the pics on the boat models are distorted? Specifically, I noticed the 340 main page is fried, the 28 galley photo also distored. As you can see, I spend the day dreaming. Thought you'd like to now.
