I just bought a 2005 26M and need to install a pump out style head, and a fresh water storage tank. Will appreciate any feedback as to the best product, and the best installation for each. The boat has never been set uo for sailing. Would an experienced owner reccomend a do it yourself installation, or having a boatyard handle it?

Thanks for the reply. Is MSD a brand or initials for a certain design? What about locating the discharge (pump out port) Would a through deck fitting be bst?

think thats marine storage device... look at the potable potties with a pumpout adapter. yes a thru deck fitting would be my choice, but this can also work. on a newer boat, take your time on upgrades. make sure before you drill. with this you would need to take the hose in the head. for potties w/o the pumpout setup. http://www.edsonpumps.com/CoastalData/showprod.cfm?&DID=20&CATID=13&ObjectGroup_ID=28
