Just recently became a 1984 Catalina 22 owner and would like to know if ID numbers are stamped anywhere on the hull. Previous owner only gave me a bill of sale but no registration card. Thanks

Inside Transom
On my 1974, there is a small aluminum plate on inside of transom with #'s. From cockpit look back and it is a little left of the tiller. RK

Hull ID number is not always
etched or engraved or anyway marked on the outside starboard side of the transom just below the rub rail. I have searched there many times. Used all methods I could think of. Used a bright light at an angle etc. No markings! I have the aluminum plate marker.
