Icebox capacity

Does anyone know the capacity ( in cubic feet ) of the Catalina 38('82)icebox? The Adlour-Barbour Cold Machine has to be replaced, andWest Marine sells two sizes; one for up to 9 cu. ft., and the other forup to 15 cu. ft. Since both are virtually the same physical size,perhaps the additional cooling capacity of the larger one is morecost effective?!? ($875 vs. 949)

Ice Box Cap.

Joe, My 82 #169 has 12cu.ft ice box and I have the larger air cooled unit in mine. It worked ok but not good, until I installed a 12v muffin fan from Radio Shack to circulate the air from the bottom freezer section up to the top, now it is great keeps the barley pop really cold..I think they sell a fan option??
