Ice Box / Engine Insulation

Im thinking of adding some sort of reflective insulation between the
engine and the ice box to try and increase the longevity of my ice
during the summer without having to rebuild the whole thing. Has
anybody done this? Does anyone have any source, or recommendations, for
fire resistant thermal insulation that can be applied?
